This course has been specifically designed for the role of the governor in particular the safeguarding governor, it covers all of the statutory requirements and provides delegates with audit tools to assist them in ensuring their school is compliance with their safeguarding responsibilities.

This course allows delegates to explore what child on child abuse consists of and how to manage this with in their school. The delegates will take away a number of templates to assist them in formulating a strategy for dealing with this in the school environment.

This course will create an understanding of what supervision is and how it can be implemented to support appropriate staff. Delegates will be given an example policy and templates of how to record the supervision process.The course also links information on dealing with resistance, aggressive and non - compliant families.

Managing Allegations/ Investigation

Managing Allegations against adults and conducting an Investigation for Case managers in an educational setting. This comprises of two modules.

Module one covers the statutory requirements of part four Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022. New - Low Level Concerns

Module two is a practical based course which equips the delegates with the skills of the investigator.
