This course is designed to train newly appointed and inexperienced designated safeguarding leads and deputys. The course covers all statutory requirements and takes participants through the safeguarding pathway.

This course fulfilled the statutory requirement for DSL/DDSL training every 2 years as per Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023. It also highlights current and emerging safeguarding issues.

This is the nationally recognised Safer Recruitment Consortium course which are trainers are registered to deliver.The course is based on our knowledge of offender behavior and how to apply that to recruit safety to the school and college workforce.

Safer Recruitment - Refresher
For those delegates that have previously attended the full day course, this is a haft day refresher which covers all recent updates in the recruitment process.

Supervision
We can come into school and deliver supervision courses. This course will create an understanding of what supervision is and how it can be implemented to support appropriate staff. We will provide an example policy and templates of how to record the supervision process. The course also links information on dealing with resistance, aggressive and non - compliant families.
Managing Allegations/ Investigation
Managing Allegations against adults and conducting an Investigation for Case managers in an educational setting. This comprises of two modules.
Module one covers the statutory requirements of part four Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024. New - Low Level Concerns
Module two is a practical based course which equips the delegates with the skills of the investigator.
