Did you Know? Paragraph 13 of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2020 outlines what schools should have in their induction pack. This does not include online safety.

Paragraph 89 states all staff should undergo safeguarding and child protection training (including online safety) at Induction. Now we are entering our second period of school lock down the connectivity for children is liable to increase significantly.

However, as demonstrated in the recent Internet Matters survey this comes with increased risk.

Training our children to stay safe in the context of Annex C of K.C.S.I.E which covers Content, Contact and Conduct is essential.

This all starts with training our teachers and teaching assistants.
